Electron Microscopy

The Bioimaging electron microscopy facility consists of a JEOL transmission electron microscope, JEOL and Zeiss scanning electron microscopes as well as state-of-the-art sample preparation equipment in form of a high pressure freezer and freeze substitution unit. Our experimental officer for electron microscopy is supported by a research technician to facilitate the diverse requirements for sample fixation, embedding and sectioning.

We encourage our users to get in touch to discuss the various services we can provide in terms of morphological analysis and quantification of ultrastructure.
