- Pharmaceutical R&D applications of the zebrafish model. Current research activity focussed on drug-induced seizures and epilepsy; drug-induced kidney injury; and pancreatic beta cell regeneration.
- The effects of pharmaceuticals in the aquatic environment, particularly: sublethal markers of toxicity in fish; the use of preclincial data in ecotoxicology; and novel experimental approaches for environmental risk assessment.
