Jul 2004 – Sep 2006: MSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, National Centre for Biological Sciences, India. Thesis title: Genetic variation of Panthera tigris tigris in Nagarahole and Bandipur using non-invasive techniques.

Career

Oct 2016 – Nov 2016: Research associate in the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge. Collaborated on the EU Biodiversity Observation Network project investigating the barriers and solutions to evidence use in conservation decision making.

Oct 2014 – Sep 2016: Fondation Wiener Anspach Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge: Conducted a systematic review to quantify the differences in performance between group and individual decision making.

Jan 2009 – Jan 2010: Senior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. Investigated the drivers for coastal plantations.

Oct 2006 – Aug 2008: Research Associate at Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment. Investigated the impact of the Indian Ocean tsunami on coastal ecosystems.
