I have been a member of the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group since 1999 and am currently leading the global RedList assessment of the green turtle (Chelonia mydas).

I sit on the Regional Advisory Committee for the EU Best 2.0 Programme (2015-present)

I was a member of the IUCN Assessments Steering Committee 2007-2009
