Profile

Broadly, I am interested in the pathogencity of bacteria and how they are able to cause infection and disease within the host. More specifically, I am interested in how a small number of bacteria are able to survive and persist inside the host organism to cause relapse infection despite bacterial clearance by host factors and treatment by antibiotics.
