Profile

I am a field ecologist with interests in social networks and modeling. Using ring resightings and social network analysis, I’m elucidating the social structure of feral Canada goose (Branta canadensis) populations at sites around the UK.

I’m a member of the British Science Association and the British Ecological Society.

Broad research specialisms:

  • Group dynamics and the effect of personality
  • Transmission of infectious disease
  • Effects of infectious disease on behaviour
