Eric Flores de Gracia
PhD researcher
Profile
After obtaining my BSc degree, I started working in private companies, government, INGOs and as independent consultant in Panama. Between 2003 and 2007 attended postgraduate studies in Spain and Taiwan ROC. Mainly interested in raising local awareness and field conservation in tropical mountain ecosystems, I recently coordinated an international research project in Panama with collaborators from the University of Goettingen, Germany and CATHALAC, from 2007 to 2009.
I am a member of the Panamanian Association for Advance of Science (APANAC) and active member of the NGO Friends of Santa Fe National Park (AMIPARQUE) in Panama.
Broad research specialisms:
Field work studies of tropical ecology in mountain and wetland ecosystems. Ecohydrology in tropical mountain ecosystems. Herpetological assessments.
