James Rapkin
MRes PG researcher
Profile
Broadly I am interested in the role of sexual selection on male and female preferences and life history traits. For my final year research project I looked into the effects of environment on male cuticular hydrocarbons (CHCs) and the effect this had on female preference to CHCs in the fruit fly Drosophila simulans.
