Lucy Omeyer
PhD Student

As an undergraduate at the University of Exeter, I volunteered with the Marine Turtle Conservation Project in Northern Cyprus for three seasons where I gained experience in conservation in the field. I pursued this further for my final year research project which looked at the temporal variation in the reproductive output of loggerhead (Caretta caretta) turtles.

My broad interests lie in the fields of marine biology and conservation. My research focuses on sea turtle biology, investigating the potential trade-off between growth and reproduction.

Broad research specialisms:

  • Sea turtle biology
  • Marine conservation
  • Population dynamics
