Overview
I originally studied mathematics and throughout my PhD I am applying analytical and computational tools to the real biological problems. Under the supervision of Dr Ivana Gudelj and Prof. Robert Beardmore, I am studying the ecological interactions of microorganisms . I am particularly interested in social behaviours observed in the microbial world.
My work combines mathematical modelling and collaboration with experimentalists, so that it can have wider relevance to real world systems.
Broad research specialisms:
- mathematical modelling of microbial interactions
- ecology and evolution of microorganisms
- mechanisms driving the social behavior
Qualifications
BSc Mathematics
