Ms Catrin Norris
Graduate Research Assistant
I am a marine conservation scientist working with Professor Callum Roberts in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences.
My current research focuses on Blue Carbon, which is the sequestration and storage of atmospheric carbon dioxide by marine vegetated ecosystems. I am conducting research on blue carbon ecosystems that include mangroves, seagrass and saltmarsh, as well as novel blue carbon sinks, such as seabed sediment, seaweed farming and kelp forests.
