Overview

I have had an interest in entomology for several years. In addition to this, my MSc (Master in Vectorial Entomology) has brought me knowledge in ecology and parasitology with the study of host – parasite – environment interactions. I am looking forward to study more insect pathology through this program.

Qualifications

MSc in Vectorial Entomology (Medical and Veterinary Entomology)

Bachelor in Agronomy (Plant experimentation)

I know how to run bioassays with insects (specially for determining virulence of a pathogen with the calculation of DL50 and LT50). I have experience in mathematical modelling on R software. Finally I have experience in molecular techniques, specially in PCR techniques.
