Overview

Vicky is the Department Manager for Biosciences.  Working as part of the Department Leadership Team and Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, Vicky supports strategic planning, delivery of departmental buisiness plans, budget planning and space coordination. She is also is the link to wider Professional Services Team who support Biosciences.

Vicky joined the University in 2017 as a Research Development Manager supporting Biosciences and the Living Systems Institute.  Before joining the University she held various roles at BBSRC including national and international strategy and policy roles as well as peer review management activities.  Her research experience extends to 10 years of active Post-Doctoral research including a Personal Fellowship from the British Heart Foundation.
