Connor Kirke

I am a PhD student in Sandra Catania's group at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology. My PhD project is investigating a novel epigenetic mechanism in the fungal pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans.

Prior to my PhD, I have worked on R-loops in transcription-replication conflicts, gene expression regulation in Campylobacter jejuni and antifungal-induced aneuploidy in C. neoformans.
