I am a PhD candidate on the NERC Red-ALERT Centre for Doctoral Training, researching the impacts of environmental pollutants on freshwater ecosystems. My project integrates advanced bioimaging (LabEmbryoCam) with transcriptomic analysis to investigate how contaminants affect the development and stress responses of Daphnia pulex. My research combines approaches from ecotoxicology, freshwater biology, and environmental monitoring to better understand sublethal impacts on aquatic invertebrates.
