Project: Investigating aspects of bacterial dormancy in the environment.

My research investigates how Vibrio bacteria become dormant in aquatic environments and subsequently resuscitate when conditions become favourable again. I am interested in how fluctuating environmental conditons (signalling molecules, sewage) may influence bacterial dormancy.
