Research interests
My research integrates biophysical techniques (ITC, SPR, SAXS, NMR, CryoEM, MST, CD, HDX-MS etc.), molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, enhanced sampling methods, machine learning, high-throughput virtual screening, and bioinformatics to address challenges in biological, pharmaceutical and agricultural sciences. I focus on understanding the conformational behavior and interactions of biomolecules (proteins (both folded & IDPs), DNA and RNA), with a particular interest in how post-translational modifications affect their function. Additionally, I investigate bacterial pilus assembly mechanisms and the process of filamentous bacteriophage infection using cryo-electron microscopy (single particle & tomography), combined with MD simulations for detailed insights into these biological systems.
