About me:
I joined the MRC CMM in September 2022, under the MRC MRes-PhD Programme in Medical Mycology and Fungal Immunology. My PhD focuses on the mechanisms underpinning the immune regulation of Candida albicans commensalism within the small intestine, with a particular focus on the roles that intestinal epithelial cells play in the maintenance of commensalism. This research is supervised by Prof. William Horsnell, Dr. Peter Cook and Prof. Adilia Warris.
I completed my MRes projects under the supervision of Dr Seána Duggan, Dr Wolfram Moebius, Dr Ivy Dambuza and Prof. Gordon Brown
