About me:
I joined MRC CMM in September 2022, under the MRC MRes-PhD Programme in Medical Mycology and Fungal Immunology.
My PhD focuses on the interactions between Candida albicans, helminths and host immunity. I have modelled the mechanisms underpinning the immune regulation of C. albicans intestinal commensalism and the impact on subsequent helminth infections. I have also researched how gastrointestinal pathobionts alter host control of systemic candidiasis infections. This project is supervised by Prof. William Horsnell, Dr. Peter Cook and Prof. Adilia Warris.
I completed my MRes projects under the supervision of Dr Seána Duggan, Dr Wolfram Moebius (project 1) and Dr Ivy Dambuza, Dr. Liliane Mukaremera and Prof. Gordon Brown (project 2).
