About me:
I am a professional ecologist working in biodiversity conservation and a long-time butterfly and moth enthusiast. I have worked for the UK charity Butterfly Conservation (www.butterfly-conservation.org) since 1997, leading their work on recording and monitoring and currently hold the post of Head of Science. I have been involved in a large number of research collaborations utilising the data gathered through these schemes. I completed a PhD by Publication at the Environment and Sustainability Institute, Exeter University (Penryn) and am currently an Honorary Professor at the Centre for Ecology and Conservation, Exeter University (Penryn).
