About me:
I am a Senior Lecturer in Molecular and Cellular Biology in the Bioscience department. I have extensive experience of teaching a wide range of topics across different levels, and I am a Fellow of the HEA. I have worked in Research Institutes and Universities in the UK and Canada, and have published numerous articles in the field of cell signalling.
Interests:
My research has covered many aspects of molecular and cellular biology, from evolution of the immune system to regulation of gene expression post bone marrow transplant and signalling in gastric cancer. The common theme has been the structure and function of cell signalling receptors. I have worked in research institutes in both the UK and Canada, using a wide range of molecular, cell culture and imaging techniques.
