Dr Shagun Shagun (She/Her)

I am a passionate researcher with a keen interest in Metabolic Systems Biology and Drug Discovery. I earned my PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India, in 2025. My doctoral research focused on deciphering the therapeutic potential of phytochemicals through metabolomics, database creation, molecular screening, and ¹³C Metabolic Flux Analysis. Through this work, I gained expertise in ¹³C Metabolic Flux Analysis, phytochemical profiling, metabolic modelling, metabolomics, and in silico and in vitro screening techniques for drug discovery.
