Dr Lindsay Walker

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Newman Lower Ground Floor (The Cave)

Overview

I am interested in exploring how culture and ecology may shape the implementation and success of institutional 'rules' in societies. I work with pastoral communities in Kenya to understand governance in community-based resource management. I am currently employed on a European Research Council (ERC) grant and an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) grant awarded to Dr Thomas Currie.

I am also passionate about evidence-informed decision-making, and strive to ensure my research has impactful outcomes and outputs. I have experience working with UK legislative bodies and writing for policy-focused audiences.

I am a member of the CLES Cornwall Inclusivity Committee.

I am a Mental Health First Aid Champion.
