Overview
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the group of Dr. Joe Costello. I study the role of organelle contact sites between Peroxisomes, Mitochondria and Endoplasmic Reticulum in Redox signaling in the cell. The implications of cargo transport disruption between these organelles through these contact sites have been less explored especially in relation to disease conditions. A combination of advanced molecular biology tools with microscopy techniques are used in this study to unravel the intracellular dynamics of organelle communication.
