I am a plant pathologist whose research focus on the causes and consequences of emerging infectious plant diseases. My research seeks to understand genetic, ecological and evolutionary factors involved in the emerging virus-induced diseases with emphasis on host-jump by RNA virus.

Currently, I moved to Exeter to work on host-virus coevolution and evolutionary ecology within communities.

Research interests

Research interests include epidemiology, virology, evolutionary ecology, molecular biology, and control of pathogens on crops with emphasis on emerging infectious diseases by host-jumping.
