Profile

I am a bacteriologist with a strong interest in the molecular basis of bacterial pathogenicity. This information is exploited to devise improved vaccines and antibacterial therapies for disease in humans and animals. I am the academic leader of the Microbes and Disease research group and Head of Biosciences.
