Overview
I am a Clinical PhD Fellow at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology within the Cook group, co-supervised by Professor Scotton & Professor Gibbons. My PhD examines how Aspergillus fumigatus drives airway inflammation, how innate immune cell responses are affected, and how the human epithelium regulates this process. My research aims to utilise patient airway samples to answer these questions, establishing a biobank of research samples for further translational work in the South West.
By training, I am a Specialty Registrar in Respiratory Medicine with research interests in fungal immunology, and airway & interstitial lung diseases.
